A small Art Deco silver cigarette case engraved to both sides with ornate foliate design. Front features a shield shaped cartouche with JW engraved monogram. Curve shaped back, gilt interior, inner elastics present and fully hallmarked to interior of both sides and catch. Hallmarked for Birmingham 1928 with Joseph Gloster makers mark. Approx. 7.5cm x 6cm and weighs approx. 47.6g.
Catch pushes in well, clasp snaps shut firmly and hinges are in good order. Some slight age related denting front and back. Scratch present on front (above cartouche) approx. 1.25cm long. Fairly deep dent on the back (near push clasp) approx. 4mm long.
