A Victorian silver vesta case with channeled detail front & back and central circular blank cartouche. Hallmarked for Birmingham 1899 and with A & J Zimmerman Ltd Makers mark. Central hanging bale to lid and striking panel to underside. Approx. 4.5cm (not inc. bale) x 3.5cm, total weight approx. 26.5g.
Small dent and split to top corner of lid on hinge side (approx. 3mm long). No other dents or splits. Hinge in good order, slight lift to lid on opening side.
